Trustees' records from the membership system
Your trustees' appointments, trustee checks and learning are already on Scouts' membership system. If somebody in your group syncs it with Leader Compliance, they can choose to share it with the board: on Leader Compliance's Leaders page, under Share trustees' records, picking your Trustee Board.
Only your own trustees, and only this: their Trustee Board roles and dates, trustee check and declaration, “Being a Trustee in Scouts”, and the learning everyone needs, with Safety and Safeguarding's expiry. Never DBS details or contact details. It refreshes each time they sync, and goes the moment they stop sharing.
On The board, a trustee who matches by name is suggested for linking; press Link to confirm. Anybody on the membership system who isn't on The board yet can be added with one click, bringing their name, role and the date they were appointed. A linked trustee shows a line saying what the membership system says, beside your own record.
Statuses, not invented dates. The membership system usually says a trustee check is satisfactory, or a module achieved, without saying when. Trustees shows that, and counts it: nobody is flagged “no eligibility declaration” when the membership system says their trustee check is satisfactory. Your own date fields are left as they are. The date they were appointed is the one it reliably has: linking someone fills it in if you hadn't, and if yours differs you can replace it with one click.
